The role & team
Our Specsavers Audiology business is on an exciting growth trajectory, and to support our growth we are now looking for an Accounts Officer to join our collaborative Audiology Finance team. The Audiology Finance team are part of the wider Finance Department of approximately seventy, who provide financial services and compliance support across our Support Office and Specsavers Stores. 


Reporting into the Head of Finance – Audiology and working collaboratively alongside a team of eight, you will be responsible for accurately processing all areas of Accounts Payable within the specified deadlines. The role is also required to undertake a variety of administration activities to maintain and ensure our Audiology stores are effectively set up for supporting Finance functions.


At Specsavers, we believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternative location, the Accounts Officer will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne. 

The essential skills we are looking for

  • Extensive experience in a similar end-to-end Accounts Payable position
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Stock Reconciliation experience preferred
  • A collaborative team player, with the ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with stakeholders across the business
  • A proactive problem-solving approach to work activities
