The Role & Team
The Clinical Performance Consultant is a key support role within the Specsavers Clinical Services (Optometry) Field Support team. Reporting into the Head of Clinical Performance, you will deliver support for 80 stores across Queensland and Northern Territory helping them to improve stores clinical performance and efficiencies.

As the Clinical Performance Consultant, you will ensure consistency in the delivery of optometry and optical procedures and provide first class levels of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders through facilitating optometry training, coaching and development programs. In addition, this role will see you working to achieve the successful implementation and development of annual plan initiatives.

The skills we are looking for:

• Experience as an Optometrist within a volume-based environment (essential)
• Hold a current Optometry Board of Australia Certificate of Registration (essential)
• Commitment to customer service and exceptional customer service skills with the ability to coach and influence (essential)
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence (essential)
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your own calendar.
• Experience facilitating training to audiences of 5-30 people highly preferred
• Experience of retail management and/or training design and delivery preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong influencing and resilience skills
