The role & team

Our Commercial Projects team are a dynamic and high performing team!


As the Commercial Project Manager, you will report into the Director of Commercial Project Management – Optics ANZ and will work collaboratively within an immediate team of seven, which is part of the wider Legal, Risk and Projects team of around twenty team members. 


The Commercial Project Manager’s key responsibility is to realise a business initiative by delivering projects to an agreed scope, cost, time and quality standard.


Accountable for the successful management of key projects across Specsavers ANZ Optical business, the role will be required to partner with business stakeholders to understand the business needs and change impacts, to ensure the delivery of project initiatives meet expectations.


You will be passionate about delivering high quality projects, change management, contribute to our continuous improvement and apply known methodologies and draw on prior experiences to achieve success.


The skills we are looking for

  • Project Management experience in business facing roles and a track record of implementing varying types of projects on time and budget
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practice
  • Thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic
  • working relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Excellent organisational skills with experience in managing multiple projects with various stakeholders at the one time
  • Excellent communication skills required, in both written and presentation form
  • Proven experience of implementing successful change initiatives
