The Role

The role is part of the project that is responsible for delivering the implementation of an upgraded technology infrastructure, WMS system and order management system across our warehouses and MGS Lab.

 

Responsibilities include: 

Process

  • Work with warehouse management to capture and document workflow charts and diagrams of the current business processes and supporting systems/applications
  • Work closely with warehouse team to support end-to-end project implementation from planning, assessment, to execution stage
  • Supporting documentation and analysis, ensuring the outputs and objectives are delivered by IT into the system
  • Help identify requirements of the warehouse by identifying substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data

UAT

  • Act as the quality gateway working with the project team to scope and plan UAT to ensure the system implementation proceeds successfully with no detrimental impact upon the operation
  • Support develop of UAT scripts, test plans, acceptance test cases, test scripts that are aligned to the business processes to validate the system is fit for purpose
  • Responsible for the planning and management of the delivery of the User Acceptance Testing, ensuring defects or issues identified are resolved by IT and re-tested

Data & Reporting

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the data attributes are understood and data requirements documented
  • Responsible for the collection, cleansing and validation of the relevant data sets/files for each system and phase of the project: systems testing, UAT, training and go live
  • Develop the processes that automate conversation of raw data into system load templates
  • Provide feedback on reports for Supply Chain, and to assist with Early Life Support (ELS) the transition into BAU.

 

 

Skills we are looking for

  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience of using and implementing Warehouse management systems
  • Practical experience generating process documentation, reports & analysis
  • Experience with data visualisation via tools such as SQL and Power BI
  • Strong communication skills
