The role & team
We have a unique opportunity for an Optometrist to join our Graduate Optometry team within our Professional Recruitment department on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Director of Professional Recruitment, you will work in partnership with the other Graduate Optometry Development Mangers to manage the delivery of the Specsavers Graduate Program, working with graduates and store partners to support the clinical and personal development of early-career optometrists, and to maximize their retention within the business.
As the Graduate Optometry Development Manager, you will also provide important input to ensure that the delivery of our graduate recruitment and development efforts meet the clinical and personal development needs of optometrists. You will also provide an Optometrist voice to recruitment and clinical placement activity.
At Specsavers, we believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternative location, this role will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne.
