The role & team:
 

The Global Demand Planning and Forecasting Team are responsible for leading the implementation and standardised planning process across all our regions. They have a global view of stock and forecasting, creating a framework of how we demand plan, forecast, and move product across the business.

 

Reporting into the Head of Inbound Logistics, the Inbound Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring we have the correct stock, in the correct location, in the most efficient way. Working with carriers and internal stakeholders, this role will ensure we track, all of our products and create KPI’s to measure and manage our suppliers.

 

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Be responsible for all inbound activities in agreed regions, ensuring we move stock in the most efficient way whilst achieving minimal Out of stocks.
  • Lead a team of Inbound planners across regions to ensure we achieve our agreed service levels (internally and externally) as well as scoping future requirements.
  • Manage external suppliers to ensure they are completing their contractual obligations and work with Procurement (Goods Not for Resale) to scope future contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with Regional Head of Demand Planning and other operational teams to develop best practise and work together to achieve ‘best in class’ service.
  • Partner with the appropriate Head of Regional Demand Planning to deliver the Regional KPIs.
  • Develop processes and governance that supports delivery against a Global Inbound Logistics framework.

 

 

Essential skills/ experience we are looking for:

 

  • A successful track record working in an Inbound Logistics role within a large complex global organisation (essential)
  • Proven experience in Freight Forwarding and Customs management
  • Ability to support negotiations and to hold suppliers accountable (essential)
  • Strong leadership or team management skills – able to create an inclusive and supportive team environment (essential)
  • Intermediate Excel skills are highly desirable.
  • Solutions driven attitude and excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships and networks globally, across different cultures and roles both internally and externally.
  • Great self-motivation, drive and experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
