The Role & Team

Specsavers is embarking on a major project refreshing our Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) retail stores. As part of our refresh project we will upgrade our internet networks, replace aged hardware reducing our overall technology footprint in store and reduce the number of operating systems.

The primary role of the project coordinator is to support the Project Manager to refresh our stores by maintaining project documentation and coordinating vendor / IT resources to complete all tasks on the night of cutover schedule. This will occur after hours when the store completes trading for the day along with post store cutover support to resolve any challenges. 

The skills we are looking for

Proven experience as a Project Coordinator having worked on similar projects relating to retail store IT rollouts
Analytical and logical approach, and able to consider multiple and varied solutions to problems / issues
Experience with a track record of supporting varying types of retail IT projects on time and budget, and coordination of people and resources
This role will require work after hours (Monday – Wednesday) for store refresh activities. Onsite attendance and travel is not required. Coordination will be managed remotely using M365 suite of tools. Store refresh planning activities will be conducted during standard business hours (Thursday – Friday).
