The Role & Team
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer to join our Technology department on a permanent basis!
At Specsavers, the Modern Workplace Engineer plays a critical role in the development and support of technologies that help our colleagues work securely, productively, and collaboratively from anywhere, on any device. This role specialises in Microsoft Modern Workplace Technologies, especially SharePoint, Teams, Identity and Power Platform, and is accountable for their successful adoption across the support office and stores.
You be responsible for providing high-level support and troubleshooting, whilst also collaborating with our Systems Designers to influence technological changes within the business. You will be considered as a subject matter expert and mentor for our more junior team members, passing down your knowledge and ensuring best-practice where necessary.
We believe this role if perfect for someone who is technically strong in all things Microsoft and is looking to establish themselves within a business as the go-to person. We are a relationship driven organisation, valuing stakeholder management experience and a drive to continuously learn and be curious.
At Specsavers, we believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternative location, you will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne.
