The Role & Team

Are you passionate about making a difference in the eyecare industry and looking to take the next step in your Optometry career? The eighteen-strong Specsavers Optometry Support team is growing, and we are looking for an Optometry Development Consultant to join us! 

 

Reporting into the Director of Optometry, you will expand the career progression opportunities available for optometrists, helping them build fulfilling careers at Specsavers. You will create resources to guide career development, plan and deliver engagement and recognition activities and support Store Partners in having meaningful development conversations with optometrists. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with Specsavers Support Office teams and external stakeholders to ensure our patients receive the best possible eyecare. 
 

The skills we are looking for

  • Significant experience as an Optometrist
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a natural ability to influence and build strong working relationships
  • Ability to work as part of a team and a strong ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent organisational skills, including ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
