The role & team

Specsavers has a friendly, supportive, and high performing Professional Recruitment Team based in Port Melbourne that provides support across three streams of the Professional Recruitment Department; Partner Recruitment, Graduate Recruitment and SRS Recruitment. This role reports directly into the Head of Partner Recruitment & SRS and is part of the wider Professional Recruitment team consisting of fourteen team members.
The purpose of the department and role is to support the resourcing of employed optometrists and retailers for our stores and delivery of a partner approved pipeline. This role will work collaboratively to support the Professional Recruitment team in day-to-day departmental coordination, administrative support, event co-ordination, financial administration and general data management.

 

The skills we are looking for

  • Demonstrated capacity to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing demands and the ability to work under pressure both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Highly organised, acute attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present reports and documentation of high quality and integrity and the capacity to deal with a wide range of clients and staff
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
