The role & team
At Specsavers Support Office we have  a warm, welcoming, supportive, and friendly reception team which consists of three team members.  Our reception team are the face of Specsavers, often the first impression for our visitors and team members experience so we pride ourselves on cultivating an inviting and friendly environment.


Due to internal promotion, we have a rare and exciting full time opportunity available within the reception team, reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner and forming part of the wider People and Organisation department which consists of almost forty members across Human Resources, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition and Payroll. 


What cannot be underestimated is how much of a brand ambassador this person will need to be.  With regular day to day responsibilities such as, delivering an exceptional customer experience for all, we are looking for someone who is equally comfortable answering the phone and greeting people face to face, distributing emails, ordering office consumables and managing relevant administration, arranging travel and couriers, catering, setting up meeting rooms and being the office “go to”. 


This role will be based on site at our Support Office in Port Melbourne. 


The skills we are looking for

  • A warm and friendly personality coupled with a strong work ethic
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist/ Administration Coordinator
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the one time and in multiple mediums (email, phone, in person).
  • Intermediate computer skills with good knowledge of MS Office
  • Highly developed organisational and administrative skills
