The role & team
The Regional Training Managers are a group of passionate training professionals who are dedicated to delivering first class learning and development solutions to our retail stores and are part of the wider Retail Support team. We are now looking for a Regional Training Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. 

Reporting into the State Director – SA, you will provide training and develop the capability of approximately 36 stores across South Australia. In this role, you will deliver regional training via a range of workshops, store visits and on-line learning interventions. 

Your natural ability to build relationships, mentor, coach and inspire teams will see you deliver training and development to drive retail performance and cement new initiatives into stores. 


The skills we are looking for

  • Full knowledge of the day-to-day functions of Specsavers stores and experience in all areas of dispensing
  • Proven experience in an In Store Training or Senior Dispensing role
  • Ability to motivate a team and guide them through their personal learning journey
  • Full understanding the various stages of the Specsavers learning journey
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver training material to small and large audiences
  • A driver’s license with the ability to travel regionally
  • A Cert IV in Optical Dispensing is advantageous
  • Commitment to customer service with experience in the creation of end-to-end initiatives to expand capability and engagement
