The role & team
In your new role at Specsavers, you will become a vital member of our high performing Commercial Finance team. As the Senior Business Reporting Analyst, you will be managing the development, production and distribution of standard business reports and dashboards. A heavy emphasis will be on developing reports and visualisations within Power BI. You will also design and develop data models that underpin the Specsavers Australia & New Zealand reporting and analytical framework whilst work collaboratively with our IT department on various projects to ensure reporting capability will continue to meet business needs. 


If you are inquisitively minded and you enjoy understanding raw data, this will be the role for you. We are looking for someone willing to challenge the status quo and always wanting to grow and develop on their current skills and ability. 


At Specsavers, we believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternate location, the Senior Business Reporting Analyst will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne.

The skills we are looking for

  • Strong experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong technical understanding of databases, data structures and models
  • Experienced with efficient modelling and reporting techniques 
  • Advanced SQL, DAX, MLanguage and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Azure technologies 
  • Proven experience with automation and end-to-end reporting 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
