The role & team
Specsavers has a friendly, supportive, and high performing SRS Recruitment Team based in Port Melbourne. This role reports directly into the SRS Senior Recruitment Consultant and is part of the wider Professional Recruitment & SRS team consisting of thirty team members.
Due to an internal promotion, this fixed-term Recruitment Consultant position has become available, specialising in sourcing optical professionals. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the wider SRS team to develop strategies for resourcing, including attraction, selection and assessment, retention and overall resource planning suited to each region. This role is also responsible for building excellent relationships with the Store Director(s) and/or their hiring manager, as well as candidates, identifying opportunity for additional permanent recruitment solutions and ensuring that best practice is always adopted.
