The role & team
Specsavers has a friendly, supportive, and high performing Professional Recruitment Team based in Port Melbourne that provides support across three streams: Partner Recruitment, Graduate Recruitment and SRS Recruitment. This 10-month fixed-term contract opportunity is part of the wider Professional Recruitment team consisting of twenty-seven team members. 

 

The SRS Retail Recruitment Consultant works collaboratively with the two other Retail Recruitment Consultants and the wider team to develop strategies for resourcing, including attraction, selection and assessment, retention and overall resource planning suited to each region. This role is also responsible for building excellent relationships with the Store Director(s) and/or their hiring manager, as well as candidates, identifying opportunity for additional recruitment solutions and ensuring that best practice is always adopted.

 

The skills we are looking for

  • Prior experience as a Recruitment Coordinator or Administrator 
  • Exposure to end-to-end recruitment within a candidate short market and high-volume portfolio
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Capability to resource and headhunt in order to build internal candidate pipelines
