The role & team

The Store Development Manager role sits within Specsavers Business Development department, which comprises of roughly thirty members based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Senior Store Development Manager, you will also work collaboratively with the Property team, Store Design team and Business Development team. 
The Store Development Manager will work cross functionally and alongside other Business development functions to coordinate the construction costs and scheduling of projects and its construction of works. 
The Store Development Team are to provide strong leadership ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while providing an acceptable Quality projects expected of network.

 

The skills we are looking for

  • Extensive experience fit out and project management experience
  • Demonstrated capacity to read and understand architectural drawings and scopes
  • Successful track record in managing teams and leading by example to obtain results
  • Experience of managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrated capacity to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing demands and the ability to work under pressure both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present reports and documentation of high quality and integrity and the capacity to deal with a wide range of clients and staff.
