Overall Purpose of the Position

Reporting into the Senior Tax Accountant and being apart of the wider Finance department, we are looking for a Tax Administration Officer on a 4 month Fixed Term contract.

You will assist in the day-to-day tax functions of the business for Australia & New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the review and update of business details in the Australian Business Register for all business entities.
• Assist in maintaining the Tax Registers and Tax Masterfile for all business entities.
• Assist with maintaining taxation portals with tax offices.
• Assist with the preparation of tax review files for tax sensitive accounts.
• Assist with meeting monthly tax compliance lodgement obligations in New Zealand.
• Assist with keeping New Zealand franking accounts up to date.
• Adhoc tax related projects as required

The skills we are looking for

• Basic understanding of Tax 
• Must be able to interpret Tax legislation & regulation 
• High attention to detail with the ability to provide accurate information for analysis
