Salary: $90,000 – $115,000

Actual compensation within the range will be based on experience
We also offer quarterly variable compensation package (bonus) + benefits

What You’ll Do

Purpose of the role

The role is an essential member of the Operations team accountable for the planning and delivery of central operations activities within the Canadian business.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new initiatives and projects, ensuring they are executed in line with the overall Annual Plan and business focus to drive operational excellence.  

  • Own ‘what good looks like’ ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are developed, embedded, and evaluated in line with the delivery of the Specsavers Customer Journey, Customer Experience, and trading performance goals across Canada 

  • Attend key operational and governance meetings ensuring that business information is communicated, and risks are identified/escalated 

  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with key departments including, Learning and Development, Clinical, Marketing and Technology to successfully launch and embed their initiatives in store  

  • Work with Retail Comms to ensure that partner communications are clear and ultimately enhance Partner performance on an operational and strategic level 

  • Contribute to Operational Resources on the Store Intranet site, ensuring content is current and is equipped to support business operations 

  • Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the entire store customer journey and experience end-to-end. 

  • Proactively engage with Partners and field teams to ensure you are well-connected, with a continual focus on business improvement and reduction of partner issues  

  • Manage relationships with key suppliers that support store operations, such as the customer feedback platform. 

  • Role model and champion the behaviours and values which Specsavers stand for and as such is a respected member of the team. 

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience in Operations driving projects and initiatives 

  • Ability to build strong personal and meaningful business relationships 

  • Confidence to influence and challenge to ensure the right business and customer outcome. 

  • Good knowledge of incident and problem management 

  • Able to think innovatively to resolve problems and identify opportunities for improvements. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively and at all levels, and adapt your communication style to suit the audience and engage and present in a variety of different forums High written and verbal communication skills. 

  • High attention to detail 

  • Be customer centric
