What you’ll do
As our new Communication Advisor / Copywriter, you’ll support our strategy to make sure Specsavers/Louis Nielsen will become the employer of choice in our Northern European region (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands). This is what that means specifically: 
  • Support the employer brand strategy with copywriting to shout louder about our opportunities and great workplace. 
  • Support our professional agenda by co-writing clinical learning content for our optometry community, Viewpoint, and our yearly eye care conference, Clinical Conference.
  • Work on various tasks, from editing copy to creating social content and from interviewing colleagues to advising the team – which will help you develop your communication skills.
Who you are
  • You’re a true communication all-rounder, a creative writer, and an excellent communicator.
  • You like to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and ever-changing opportunities.
  • You’re capable of prioritising your work and working independently – as your manager won’t sit in the same office (but is always just a phone call away).
  • You have about 5 years of experience in a similar role – if you’ve worked in employer branding or healthcare communication, that’s great! 
  • Your English (spoken and written) is to the level of mother tongue. 
  • You can quickly adjust to a specific tone of voice and style guide.
  • You’re used to writing for various online and offline channels. 
  • You know your way around WordPress, Mailchimp, and different social media channels.
