What you’ll do?
As D&I Project Lead, you will be responsible for partnering the business in relation to people experiences across our five markets in Northern Europe. Being part of the NE People Leadership team and focusing on both store- and support office employees, you will be driving projects and people experience activities within areas such as Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion, onboarding, and Great Place to Work. More specifically, your job tasks will be:
- Organizing our annual Great Place to Work survey and coordinate the regional actions and local country plans.
- Acting as key contact for GPTW Account managers regionally.
- Support the ongoing global commitment within Diversity and Inclusion, including communicating regional activities
- Owning and supporting the ongoing development of our Northern European approach to well-being
- Onboarding – drive the regional alignment of the onboarding from a process and rand perspective. Ensure that new joiners across support office and stores have a consistent welcome to Specsavers. Collaborate with local HRBPs and Talent team to drive consistency and offer a best-in-class experience.
You can look forward to working with colleagues from our region as well as colleagues from the UK and external stakeholders. As our new D&I Project Lead, you’ll work at our NESO office in Hvidovre. However, in 2024, we’re relocating to Copenhagen’s Nordhavnen. Our new office features a stunning rooftop terrace with breathtaking city and harbour views.
This is a maternity cover, expected to last 12 months from November 2023.
Who you are?
We’re looking for a D&I Project Lead who understands the importance of employees thriving as part of our organization. Your experience could come from different places, but having worked within the field of HR in a project management setting is essential within this role. To succeed in this role, you will need to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and the role will require an individual who is able to influence at all levels and manages English fluently to ensure consistent collaboration.
In short, the potential D&I Project Lead must accommodate following qualifications:
- Proven experience in delivering multiple projects within the area of HR
- Proven experience in working with People Data systems
- Strong people skills and a desire to work cross-functionally with many different stakeholders
- Proven experience in working with a global/regional D&I agenda
- Able to communicate effectively in writing, face to face, in presentations and over the phone.
- Relevant education on either bachelor or master level within HR, Business Administration or the like
