Our Design team consists of six passionate colleagues who work with developing all store-facing learning materials. However, you will also be part of a wider Learning and Development team consisting of 30+ people across the Northern Europe region. We collaborate with the country teams in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands, as well as our teams in UK, Australia and across the Retail, Product and Marketing departments at the offices. Among other, we produce many different types of highly-engaging training materials to an audience of approximately 3500 store users. Furthermore, we support Specsavers’ business and ensure that the store colleagues are trained for any upcoming changes.

Ensuring top-quality digital learning experiences
As our Digital Learning Designer, you will ensure that we have the correct people and timely content in our Learning Management System which is called iLearn. You’ll be part of producing, planning and launching process of our learning material called ‘Month in Focus’ as well as other materials published in iLearn. You’ll be based in our Northern Europe Support Office in Copenhagen where you’ll work closely together with the Senior Learning Designer on delivering content for Month in Focus, help producing training material, light project management and coordinating monthly translations with country L&D Managers. Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of our virtual classroom training offer in each of the five Northern European countries, setting up the sessions together with our Regional Training Managers as well as handling any other required platform support. Moreover, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and designing online learning materials
  • Supporting country teams with virtual Classroom and LMS Light project management with country versions of materials

A creative soul with a structured approach
For the position as our Digital Learning Designer we are in search of a person who holds the ability to manage their own time effectively. You should also have strong interpersonal skills, be a creative thinker, have the ability to problem solve and be able to manage working on many different projects at the same time. To be successful in the role you must:

  • Hold a degree within web design, interaction design or similar
  • Have 1-2 years of working experience with virtual training, learning and delivery
  • Have fluent written and spoken English skills
  • Have basic knowledge of HTML5
  • Be familiar with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Furthermore, you should know or want to learn Articulate Storyline and Rise Experience with Adobe Connect (or similar platform). If you have experience with developing e-learning materials and administrating content for LMS within a fast-moving environment, it is considered an advantage.
In the position you can expect occasional travel days within the Northern European region.
