What you'll do

Then we believe we have the perfect position for you! At our Louis Nielsen support office in Aalborg, we’re looking for a new Head of Product to join our fun-loving people and management team to lead all aspects relating to the products in our Louis Nielsen stores.

 

What you’ll do

 

Reporting to the regional Product Director, as our new Head of Product, you will lead a team of 3 talented people to improve our product performance, quality and style perception in Denmark.  Collaborating with the regional product team you will input into and subsequently execute the product strategy into the Danish marketplace.  You will form part of the regional product management team, along with your peers in Finland, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and the regional product heads, you will have a collective responsibility for advancing the product function and agenda within the region.

 

Together, you and your team will provide direct support to our Louis Nielsen store teams and Partners to ensure they have everything they need regarding products, product information and product training to deliver our product offer.

 

You’ll also be an instrumental part of our Danish management team since it’ll be you who hold the key to understanding and the knowledge of how our products are performing in both stores and online.

 

Your everyday tasks will be to:

 

  • Lead our Louis Nielsen product team and build effective work relations with key stakeholders
  • Develop and drive the product activities within our trading plan and evaluate on an ongoing basis
  • Develop a store engagement strategy on product quality and style
  • Provide the regional team with a holistic view of product needs and pricing for our Danish market
  • Support our Danish management team with content material on our products for our monthly Communication Meetings and our Partner Forums
  • Take an active role in the periodic pricing reviews with our regional product team
  • Inform our regional product team of the training and store engagement needs that we need for Louis Nielsen’s store teams
  • Work with our learning and development teams on local training and requirements for Louis Nielsen store staff
  • Understand the customer journey and the competitor landscape in Denmark
  • Provide our Danish Country Director with analysis and data on product performance and profitability
  • Supply our regional product team with an overview of product campaigns and expected sales volume uplift.

 

Who you are

 

We’re are looking for someone passionate about products and the retail landscape. Other than that, we imagine you are:

 

  • A motivating and empathetic leader  
  • Naturally curious and open to new ideas
  • Attentive to details
  • Collaborative and know how to keep people engaged
  • Speaking Danish and English fluently
  • Well-trained in the business use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
