What you’ll do
Your daily tasks will revolve around day-to-day monitoring, response, and management of critical security systems such as intrusion detection, network behavioural analysis, vulnerability management, and everyday information security management and interaction with the business and IT teams.

In addition, you’ll support with delivering Risk, Governance and Assurance activities within our region. These services include day-to-day oversight, risk management of key systems, information security management, and interaction with the business and IT teams.

Other tasks will be to:

  • Manage and own the day-to-day provision of primary TVM services within our region, including but not limited to: attack detection, vulnerability management, End Point Security, O365, E-Mail Gateway Security and SIEM
  • Help the Global Risk & Oversight Team to ensure delivery of GRC services within the NE region
  • Lead and support the virtual security team in solving more complex or high priority security service issues
  • Support the provision of out-of-hours on-call services, in conjunction with other members of the Cyber operations Team
  • Act as SME within the information security field – being the first point of call for advice in our region.

The job entails on-call shifts once every five weekends, for which you will receive a good remuneration. You can also expect up to 20 % travel (15% within the region and 5 % travel to the UK).

Who you are
We are looking for a person with excellent IT security skills and experience with SIEM solutions, Vulnerability Management, and cyber operations.
You’re more than happy to work independently, and at the same time, you’re ready to travel about 20 % of your working schedule.
To become our new Information Security Officer, you should be able to meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Information Security – primarily in Cyber Operations; however, GRC & Data Privacy skills would be beneficial
  • Previous experience in Vulnerability Management tools such as Qualys & Cortex
  • Good working knowledge of:

SIEM (we use Splunk)
Email Gateways (we use Proofpoint)
Endpoint Protection (we use Cortex XDR)
Firewalls (we use Palo Alto and Cisco Meraki)

  • Experience working with globally remote/logical teams
  • Experience working with Managed Security Services
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are all musts.

Also, knowledge of GRC Risk Management Software is considered a bonus. And to top it all off, experience from retail would be icing on the cake!
