What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to be a key player in running, implementing, and securing our platform for the future. This also includes how we adopt cloud technologies with infrastructure as code mindset, supported by advanced monitoring and alerting to keep great uptime across the board in a hybrid environment.

More specifically, you can look forward to:

  • Implementing new solutions together with our Technology Product teams
  • Being consulted on technical capabilities to address requirements
  • Assisting with input to low-level design activities with our Technology specialists and Architecture Team – Enabling new tools to manage our systems.
  • Focus days, thanks to our on-point rotation.
  • Migrating systems into the cloud and proactively maintaining them during their lifespan – Assist in keeping our systems secure from threats. and vulnerabilities.

How will this role progress?

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Be onboarded and learn about our ways of working together as a team to enable us to focus and dig into fun and nerdy stuff
  • Learn about our datacenter setup and our plans
  • Get acquainted with our Product managers and begin to understand our agile ways of working.

Within 6-12 months, you are:

  • Well acquainted with our processes and infrastructure, incl. network and monitoring
  • Certified in a new or already known product that is of interest to you and the business
  • Delivering innovative solutions together with our product teams to help change lives through better sight and hearing.

Who you are:

As our new infrastructure support technician, you need to work with multiple cross-functional tasks and have a structured but inquisitive approach to solving tasks, participating in projects with analysis, and determining. In this role, the successful candidate is self-motivated and great when it comes to stakeholder communication. Last, but not least, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven understanding of technology infrastructure
  • Basic understanding of security, hardware platforms and operating systems, network access and hosting
  • Ability to communicate complex operational and technical matters clearly to both IT professionals and other business colleagues
  • Fluency in English – both verbal and written

Experience within Agile Practice Management is a plus.

  • Virtualization and storage technology like VMware, Hyper-v, and SAN solutions
  • Networking, subnetting, SD-WAN/LAN, MPLS, routing/BGP.
