What you’ll do?
As part of our long-term strategic plans, we’ve started the initial preparations for re-platforming and revamping our career sites in the Northern European (NE) region. As this will be a huge project with a high prioritisation, we’re going to need extra hands-on board, both to acquire new inspiration as well as technological skills in the team. There’ll be many exciting stuffs to do, and some of your primary tasks will be to: 
  • Manage Specsavers’ six career sites in NE and the content management system (CMS) striving for optimal functionality and a frictionless user journey
  • Responsible for identifying and driving improvement areas based on data and best practice to improve the overall onsite user experience and increase conversion 
  • Play an instrumental role in optimizing the performance of the career sites through e.g., SEO, keywords, content quality, design etc. 
  • Ability to put yourself in the candidates’ shoes to be able to design the best experience for them!
You can look forward to working with colleagues from both our region as well as from our global unit; i.e. developers, designers, copywriters, the global People Technology team, and external stakeholders. 
As our new Web Experience Manager, you’ll work at our NESO office in Hvidovre. However, in 2024, we’re relocating to Copenhagen’s Nordhavnen. Our new office features a stunning rooftop terrace with breathtaking city and harbour views.
Who you are?
As you might have noticed, this role of is of high priority to all of us, and we’re super excited to get our new colleague on board. We’re dreaming of welcoming a colleague with a digital and commercial mindset, used to working in CMS, WordPress or similar, and who can transform data into actions. We are well aware that your qualities and you as a person is not some checklist to be crossed off, however; this role does require some specific skills and experience to fit as the big part of the puzzle that we’re missing. In short, we need you to have:
  • A degree in a relevant field e.g., computer science, web development, or the like
  • Gained extensive experience working with websites, CMS ownership, UX and/or CRO
  • Strong knowledge of web design concepts
  • Experience within UX and website optimization
  • Excellent skills with analyzing website performance metrics and making data-driven decisions
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Hands on experience with attribution modelling and customer lifetime value measurement
  • Practical knowledge of developing and implementing customer segmentation models 
How will this role progress? 
Within 3 months, you will: 
  • be onboarded to the team, Specsavers and your responsibility areas
  • learn about the scope of the global replatforming project and your role
  • get acquainted with your stakeholders regionally and globally
 
Within 6-12 months, you are: 
  • working dedicatedly on the global site project
  • ensuring that our existing career sites are constantly updated and improved
  • the expert for anything regarding our career sites
