Your role
In this role, you’ll drive the execution of Local Growth opportunities, defined by our highly skilled Store Operations team. You’ll also be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing activation packages. You will also support the wider marketing team and act as back-up where possible.
  • Represent our Dutch Marketing team within our Local Marketing/Growth community
  • Planning and execution of local marketing activities, incl. store (re)openings, rebrands or relocations
  • Planning, managing and booking appropriate media and materials in support of local marketing campaigns
  • Analysis of results, definition of best practices and implementation of learnings.
In this role you will be member of the NL Marketing Optics team (consisting of 4 persons in total), working closely with Local Growth Manager and partners.
Together, we are responsible for supporting our 143 stores and web shop with effective marketing-communication activities throughout all channels, so think of search advertising as well as creation of point-of-sale materials. You will also be in close touch with your colleagues from the Northern European Support Office in Copenhagen. And you will for sure exchange experiences and ideas with your counterparts across the region on a regular basis.

Your qualifications
  • Marketing Education and/or experience
  • Understanding of the digital media landscape
  • Fluent in Dutch and with great communication skills (writing, translating)
  • Analytical skills
Desirable:
  • Commercial experience, preferably in retail
  • Experience in marketing planning & execution
  • PowerBI, Excel
Your development
Within 3 months, you will:  
  • Be onboarded and understand our way of working
  • Gain understanding of the (business) value of the local approach 
  • Support the deliveries within the defined activity calendar
  
Within 6-12 months, you are:  
  • Advising our store partners on local store activities
  • The expert in the field of on- and offline media buying on local store level
  • Shaping the plans for next year, based on insights and analysis
