This World Aid’s Day one of our colleagues would like to share his story to #RockTheRibbon and help everyone at Specsavers have a better education about HIV.  

Over the next 12 months, Specsavers, alongside 11 other organisations, will be reimagining retention and experimenting with different ways to support our colleagues to progress and develop their career in different directions.

We’re making a renewed commitment to diversity and inclusion. We wanted a simple way of communicating D&I at Specsavers and our commitment below brings to life our promise to put D&I at the heart of everything we do.  

Todays National Inclusion Week theme is all about The Power of Allyship so we spoke to Caren Maguire in our HR team about why being an ally to the embRace colleague network was so important to her. 

Specsavers Neurodiversity Colleague Network (NDN) is our newest Specsavers Colleague Network. Each network focuses on a different category of diversity amongst Specsavers colleagues, but the aim is the same for every network – to CELEBRATE our diversities, whatever they may be, and to ensure that Specsavers recognises those diversities and enables everyone to thrive and be the best that we can be!

Meet Holly who joined us straight from college on a summer placement. Six years later and she’s an Art Director in our in-house creative agency where she gets to bring to life all her creative ideas across our TV, radio and press campaigns.

Meet Rosie who joined us back in 2019 as Global Data Specialist Team Leader and quickly discovered her passion for information technology, but could she really build a career in IT if she wasn’t technical?
