The safety and wellbeing of our colleagues remains our number one priority

With this in mind, we are not intending to make significant changes to working arrangements. However, following the UK Government’s latest advice for returning to the workplace, colleagues who want to work back in the office can do so at their discretion, we know that reconnecting is important for our sense of wellbeing.

To enable this to happen we have built plans that create a safe environment for our colleagues whilst in the office. We have followed the government COVID-19 guidelines to ensure our sites are COVID-19 secure. Some of the measures include:

  • Two-metre social distancing
  • Assigned workstations
  • Fixed teams/’bubbles’ and team rotas
  • Enhanced cleaning regimes
  • Occupancy restrictions

Over the last few months, a number of colleagues have found they needed to return to the office, and the measures we have had in place have given them confidence that they are working in a safe environment:

‘I have been absolutely blown away with the effort and work that has been carried out by our Facilities team, not only to understand all of the new measures but then to implement them so well – they mean I can come to work not needing to worry.’

‘I have felt very comfortable working in Forum 6, a lot of work has clearly gone into making people feel safe and comfortable.’

‘The Facilities management team have done a fantastic job in creating a space in which my team and I feel comfortable to work.’
