Luton audiology apprentice ‘found her calling’ with Specsavers

This National Apprenticeship Week (February 3-7) Specsavers in Luton is encouraging people to sign up to the apprenticeship programmes on offer at the store with Natasha Soper flying the flag doing an audiology apprenticeship.

Moving from optical assistant

Natasha worked for Specsavers for 3 years as an optical assistant before making the change to the Hearcare Assitant course and then starting the audiology apprenticeship in October to support her goal of becoming a hearing aid dispenser.

She says: ‘the course itself sounded great and the perfect fit for myself and my future goals. It was the best way for me to get where I wanted to be, both in my education and my career.’

Aekta Patel, hearing centre store director is glad to help Natasha

‘We were so pleased that, after working as an audiology assistant, we were able to offer Natasha the audiology apprenticeship to support her in her dreams of wanting to make a real difference to our customer’s quality of life.’
