Connecting and learning at the Specsavers Audiology Roadshows

Being connected to your fellow professionals is a big part of working for Specsavers.

You spend a lot of time in your clinics. And although you have your colleagues in store close at hand, it’s great to be able to meet your fellow Specsavers hearing care colleagues from your region.

You can meet new people. Talk about the latest developments and technology. Take time out of the day job to learn and reflect.

That’s why we have the Specsavers Audiology Roadshows. And after a gap of over two years when they went digital, face-to-face roadshows returned in April 2022.

Over 500 Specsavers audiologists got together in 12 locations across the UK and Ireland.

They heard about our audiology plan for 2022/23. They were updated on the latest clinical developments and professional development opportunities with Specsavers. And they took part in interactive workshops from Philips on brand new hearing technology that’s now available for Specsavers customers.

But mostly, they connected with fellow Specsavers audiologists in their area.

We owe so much of our success to our people. That’s why we do everything we can to make sure our people get the best from us too.

Gordon Harrison, Specsavers director of professional advancement, says: “Specsavers is a community of clinicians, and our audiology roadshows bring that community together. You’re never on your own at Specsavers. The roadshows give our clinicians the chance to meet their fellow professionals, to make new connections and to talk about their work and their career away from the store.”
