Transforming our People Operations team – Kate Skilton

Our People Operations team exists to provide a positive people experience for all of our colleagues through an effective and consistent HR service; easy to navigate HR support and information that helps to upskill our people and makes it easier for them to do their jobs. 

Kate Skilton tells us more about exciting projects and opportunities in the team.

We are about to introduce a new people system which will enable us to extend and improve our service even more, whilst transforming the way we work across the broader HR team.  Its a big deal, considering the size and complexity of our business

We will be creating a one-stop-shop for all people related support for colleagues, partners and managers – providing access to people support 24/7 through an improved self-service offer.

With this exciting change comes opportunities within the team. We have a number of new roles we need to recruit alongside our commitment to develop our team members and provide skills and training to enable them to be experts in their field.

Some of the great new opportunities include front-facing people services roles where you will be providing direct support to all colleagues and managers as their first point of contact, people data & insight roles to ensure the business makes commercial decisions about our people based on data; and continuous improvement and development roles, focused on making sure we strive to improve what we do every day and drive efficiencies.
