Call Centre Assistant

Location: Edinburgh, Morningside + Cameron Toll

(This role would consist of working over both stores)

Hours: Full time only- 40 hours – No sunday working

Salary: £22,000 + Bonus

At Specsavers, our Call Centre Assistants are essential in shaping the beginning of our Customer’s journey.

We’re looking for someone with experience in customer service with strong communication skills, who is good with people, has an organised approach & a willingness to help – a friendly and professional approach is essential.

As part of our team, you’ll make sure every patient receives a great experience from the get go, creating a positive impression at every opportunity.

In this role you will be our customers first point of contact when they call in. You’ll therefore need to be a natural when it comes to customer care – articulate, good with people and always happy to help.

In addition to basic clerical work, you will be required to organise the audiologists workload, deal with customers and be able to search information on numerous databases.  You will be required to book and reschedule appointments over the phone and face to face.

  • Answering all telephone calls in a prompt, clear and friendly manner
  • Transferring calls efficiently
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Ensuring customer details are captured accurately when booking appointments
  • Customer face to face interaction
  • Within this role you’ll also be required to complete and post orders, receive, and check deliveries, and maintain Hearcare accessories and aids displays.

 

You will also need to give good clear advice to customers on how to look after and clean their hearing aids. Not worked with hearing aids before? Don’t worry! We will teach you everything you need to know about hearing aids.
