Status Permanent role : Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm (flexibility required)

We are seeking a highly motivated, friendly and reliable Domiciliary Optical Assistant to help support our customers and clinical team.

This role is focussed around the aftercare of our patients.  You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to build rapport with customers as you will be responsible for delivering a professional service our patients in their own homes and in some care home settings.

On a daily basis you will be delivering glasses to patients, so you must be able to work on your own initiative and be confident when dealing with customers. Once you are trained you will be able to fit prescription glasses, make minor adjustments and assist with customer concerns. Our patients are pretty special so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a  kind demeanour.

This would suit someone who is looking to do something different where training is provided or maybe you want to stay in optics but don’t want to work weekends anymore. If this sounds like you, get in touch.
