Role: Trainee Domiciliary Optical Assistant (You must be able to drive and have your own car to use)
Salary: £22,000 per annum
Benefits: Car allowance plus business fuel and parking paid for
Hours: Part time, working between Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (minimum 3 days)

You need to be able to drive as you also get out and about in the community with this role across the North West London Region. Your safety is important to us, you need to be double vaccinated due to the demographic of our patients and we will also apply on your behalf for an enhanced DBS check too, leave it all to us.

Through effective communication with elderly and vulnerable adults, you will demonstrate a positive and professional manner which will be enhances with patience, respect, dignity, and empathy, both oral and written.
You will learn how to conduct pre-testing and to dispense products to customers, this includes Single Vision, Bi-focal and Varifocals
With training you will gain the confidence to carry out minor repairs and adjustments whilst on site.
Through training you will learn how to complete the NHS GOS by eGOS or forms and have a sound understanding of the voucher values.
Able to provide adequate business insurance cover for your vehicle and be a safe and confident driver.
