Main Purpose of Role

 

Reporting into the Director of Retail Change, this is a standalone role responsible for capacity planning of and ensuring the successful implementation of (time, cost and quality) of technology architecture projects across all UK and ROI store portfolio.

 

This role works in Partnership with the Director of Technology Optics, Head of Technology Audiology/Domiciliary and works through the Divisional Retail Change Managers focussing specifically on the successful implementation of Networking, SITU, Windows10 and SCE.

 

The role is responsible for

  • Capacity planning, execution and successful deployment (time, cost and quality) of key technology changes in the UK and ROI/Spain as defined by the Director of Retail Change.
  • Working closely with the Divisional Retail Change Managers to ensure successful deployment of key technology changes in each Division
  • Working in partnership with the Technology function (Director and Head of Technology), Retail Change Team and Partner Forums to ensure that deployment is seamless from a Retail perspective
  • Working in partnership with Comms teams and Director of Technology Optics or Head of Technology for Audiology to ensure clear individual partner and stakeholder communications to deliver changes

 

Essential skills include

  • Experience of operating and influencing at a senior level
  • Understanding and experience of working with Technology  
  • Strong understanding of Retail, Stores and the Partnership
  • Ability to understand and translate from Technology teams to key stakeholders, RST, Partners and Colleagues
  • Experience of project management and ability to work effectively across a matrix structure to drive business performance
