Main Purpose of Role


The HR Business Partner is responsible for building and maintaining excellent working relationships with all Leaders and teams to ensure the delivery of our Group HR Plan across their respective site (Kidderminster, manufacture and distribution). The role is a true generalist role with responsibilities that cover Communication, Talent Management, Reward Management, Employee Relations, Learning & Development and Recruitment & Selection.


Reporting directly to the HR Manager and working closely with the site Leadership teams and colleagues this role will ensure all HR duties are undertaken in accordance with employment law, company policy and ensuring any risk to the business is minimised.


Essential Skills and experience


  • A proven track record as a HR generalist.
  • Experience in developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  • Ability to write and deliver creative, imaginative presentations to colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience in talent management, succession planning and development, writing and delivering training programmes appropriate to the needs of employees and the business.
  • Thorough working knowledge of resolving complex casework problems.
  • Building productive relationships – ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Political awareness – navigating the ever present hidden agendas, shifting allegiances, and competition for resources that exist in all organisations.
  • Strategic thinking – protecting regular time and space to apply a long-term big-picture lens to priorities and planning.
