Part Time IT Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Analyst

We're expanding our support teams and are looking to hire part time IT Helpdesk Analysts / IT Service Desk Analysts of all levels of experience to join our Technology team based in Whiteley, Fareham. 

 

You might be a student looking for a role to fit around your studies or looking for a role where you can work mornings or weekend shift patterns

 

Your main responsibility will be to provide excellent IT support to staff in store, off site and in our offices. You will receive all kinds of queries from customers either online, by phone or through online chat and will assess the problem before following it through either resolution or escalation to our specialist teams. You'll take full ownership of the problem and ensuring they're updated on progress if it's not a quick fix.

 

There's lots of support and mentoring as you learn the role but ideally, in order to be successful you will have:

  • Worked in a similar IT support environment or have customer service experience supporting customer issues
  • Have a keen interest in technology – maybe even just being the 'go to' for friends and family.
  • The ability to communicate well with customers, managing priorities from start to finish and have a helpful attitude towards understanding issues and finding solutions
