Total package up to £80,000 (depending on experience)

£2,500 joining bonus paid after successful completion of probation (terms apply)
Specsavers in Gravesend are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join them. The focus at this store, is about pulling together and working as a team to ensure that our valued patients have an excellent experience. We’re fully equipped with 7 test rooms, the latest clinical technology (including 2 OCTs), and a team of 45 – which includes fully trained optical assistants, dispensing opticians, and a contact lens optician – so everything is in place to let you focus on what you do best.

Through open conversations and regular 1-2-1’s, we will work together to tailor-make a career that suits you. There are so many areas to explore; from WOPEC qualifications and independent prescribing to paediatric accreditations or enhanced optical services, ILM courses, Pre-Reg supervision and the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway). Along with your clinical expertise – this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day. Whatever your ambitions, we’ll do everything we can to help you be the best you can be.

We’re located in the maritime town of Gravesend, –perfect for people who want to be based close to the hustle and bustle of London while still being able to enjoy the beautiful countryside and historic villages that Kent has to offer. Gravesend is set just off both the M2 and M25, so It’s easy to get to by car as well as being well connected by regular trains/buses. You can also benefit from being an easy commute from some beautiful areas including Folkestone, which Is only 48 minutes by train!
