Well, that’s an easy question to answer and that is because, Specsavers in Lymington is all about offering Clinical and Personal Development.  David and Neil are passionate about the industry and lead a clinical and professional environment.  They are more than happy to support your career with additional qualifications, whether that be Independent Prescribing, Glaucoma or Medical Retina, or all three.  They want you to be the BEST you can be.

Our Directors at Lymington are looking for a talented Optometrist who is looking for a career move, not just a job.  They have very good connections with the local hospitals, so if you would also like to gain experience at the hospital, they would support you with this, as well as support you if you wanted to consider being a Partner in the future.  To add to all this one of the Partners Neil is serving as a Senior Assessor with the College of Optometrists and works closely with the GOC giving you a wealth of knowledge to draw from.  Neil is also a Contact Lens Assessor, the knowledge at this store is incredible!

Our Optometrists are an integral part of our store management team, so we’re keen to get you up to speed outside the test room too. With ILM courses, Pre-Reg supervision and the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway) all available to explore. Along with your clinical expertise – this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day.

The store has an excellent reputation within the local community and has built up a very loyal customer base. Having the right tools for the job is important and that’s why a brand-new OCT machine has recently been installed within the practice to help deliver the best service possible.
