Position: Optometrist
Location: Thame
Salary: up to £65,000 per annum (pro rata) + bonus + excellent package
Working hours: Full or Part Time – No Late Nights
Experience level: You must be a GOC registered Optometrist

Specsavers Thame are looking for a passionate Clinical Optometrist to join their team. We are a successful community-focused practice dedicated to ensuring that every one of our customers receives an excellent patient experience. We have a great reputation for providing the highest standards of customer care. We also value a collaborative, supportive work environment that encourages continuous learning with a relaxed ‘Independent’ vibe.

 

Our new practice was established only 2 years ago and all 3 testing rooms are equipped with the latest Keeler and Nidek equipment and IT system. We have a strong clinical support team in place that helps the practice run like clockwork

 

Not only do we have the latest equipment, but the directors are always there for you and will support progression both clinically and professionally. Our ophthalmic director, Nishita Chauhan, has been with Specsavers for 15 years, supporting pre-regs, WOPEC assessing, higher qualifications and with first-hand experience in the progression Specsavers can offer. Our retail director, Neil, has also been with Specsavers for over 10 years.

With a focus on flexibility, we are open to full-time and part-time applicants and will consider any working pattern to suit you. So, whether you need condensed hours, no weekend work, or no late finishes, we are open to making it work.

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, we are searching for someone who shares our practice’s ethos. Someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional clinical care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, we’re looking for a resident Optometrist to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward.
