Position: Optometrist

Salary: Excellent salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience
Would consider a Newly Qualified – £50,000 depending on expereince
Working hours: Full time or Part time
Experience level: You must be a GOC registered Optometrist
Specsavers is moving into a BRAND NEW STORE, within Sainsbury’s in WORLE. The store complementing our sister store in Weston-Super-Mare. We are, therefore, expanding the team and seek a forward-thinking Optometrist. We recognise that our people are the key to our success. There would also be the opportunity to get involved in pre-reg supervision if desired, but certainly not expected or a criteria to getting the job. Become our new Optometrist at Specsavers in Worle.
What’s on Offer?
With a focus on flexibility, we are open to full-time and part-time applicants and will consider any working pattern to suit you. So, whether you need condensed hours, alternate weekends or early finishes, we’re open to making it work – but let’s talk about that later.
Our store will have the latest clinical technology, including OCT and NIDEK equipment. We currently offer enhanced clinical services including post-cataract care and enjoy a successful business relationship with the NewMedica Eye Clinic in Bristol. We always aim to be the very best we can be – both clinically and in terms of customer service. Our experienced, diverse and friendly team are always on hand to offer support and take care of patient’s needs, meaning that as our new Optometrist, you can focus on offering a first-class sight test to our valued customers.
Our location
Our new store will be based within Sainsburys, Queensway; we’re close to the North Worle Shopping Centre with easy access to the M5 motorway (junction 21) and a 6-minute walk to the train station.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion, and the willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture. As part of our team, you’ll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community. Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.
