About the store
Flint is a well-established store, having first welcomed customers inside back in 2007.
Since then, the store has gone from strength to strength, and is well known in the local community for its outstanding service and contribution to eye health across the area.
Specsavers Flint benefits from no multiples in the immediate area and enjoys a prominent location on the main high street. There is free parking nearby for its customers too.
The store is home to a dedicated and hard working team, where hard work is rewarded with progression and further opportunities. The retail Partner, Holly Roberts has worked in the store for a number of years and has been supported through Pathway as the store manager, and now proudly owns 50% of the shares, leaving another 50% available for a passionate Optometrists, that has the will and desire to work hard alongside Holly, and push the store to the next level.
Location and Lifestyle
Flint is well known for its historic Castle, dating back to 1284 and built by King Edwards I. The castle is complete with its own moat and drawbridge, and is described as a castle within a castle.
The coastline of Flint is vast and stretches for over 25 miles, and you can enjoy a stroll along the famous Wales Coast Path from Chester to Gronant. Much loved by the locals and visitors, and easily accessible to all the family.
Within the pretty town itself, you will find a bustling high street, complete with an array of both independent and more familiar named stores, plus there is a wide range of cafes and restaurants to choose from for a spot of lunch or dinner after a day of exploring the area.
Flint is situated in North East Wales and is reached from the Wirral and Chester in 30 mins. The bustling and vibrant city of Liverpool is 45 minutes away by car and Manchester an hour, offering the local residents the benefit of idyllic town life, with the array and convenience the city has to offer. Liverpool and Manchester are easily reachable via car, or why not make use of the train station located in the heart of Flint.
Flint is a medium store, and operates with three test rooms, state of the art OCT, Low Vision clinics and a close relationship with the local GP’s, ensuring referrals for both sight and hear care services. The new incoming Optom partner will be driven to continue the hard work of the current partners and will want to play an active part in the local community, and all those that are a part of it.
