What’s on Offer?
About the stores
Specsavers in Crayford first opened its doors in 2022 so still has the look and feel of a brand-new store. It is located in a flagship Sainsbury’s store which is the 3rd largest in the country. There are 3 test rooms, one of which offers audiology services 5 days of the week, serving as a spoke store to Tunbridge Wells’ Hub.
A team of 10 dedicated colleagues call this store home including 2 nearly qualified pre-regs, 2 supervisors and 2 part-time optoms. The existing Retail Partner is also a qualified DO and is based in the store full time. They offer enhanced clinical services including cataract pre and post op care, Dry eye clinics and eye pressure monitoring.
The store is located in the large Sainsburys Superstore where there is plenty of free parking. Crayford has its own greyhound stadium, just round the corner from the store as well as plenty of shops and restaurants in the high street and nearby Tower Retail Park. There are excellent transport links, with a train station only 10 minutes’ walk from the store where you can catch a train to London in less than 30 minutes and access to the M25 is nearby.
Less than 6 miles from Crayford, sits the Swanley store. It first opened its doors in 2017 and has a prominent position in a pedestrianised shopping area alongside stores such as ASDA and Iceland.
A team of 9 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home. You would be joining Faheem Ayub, Optometry partner who has been with Specsavers for 5 years and Ian Hyland who been with the business for 6 and a half years as Retail partner. Both are really looking forward to gaining an Optometry Partner to help them drive the business forward so that it flourishes for many years to come.
There is free parking, excellent transport links with a mainline railway station within walking distance from the store where trains to London Victoria take less than 3 minutes and the M25 is only 10 minutes’ drive.
