Specsavers in Rhyl first opened its doors in 1991 and sits in a prominent position in the White Rose shopping centre, near popular shops such as JD, Sports Direct and Boots.
The store prides themselves ensuring every customer receives an excellent patient experience. The high levels of service and patient care have led to numerous positive customer reviews and an excellent local reputation.
A team of 25 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home. The store boasts 5 optical test rooms, all equipped with OCT and 1 dedicated hearcare room. The existing Partners are Shelley who has been with the business from the start and Hannah since 2015 are passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Optometry Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.
Store location
Rhyl is a seaside town and community, situated on the beautiful coastline of Northern Wales. Rhyl is a popular tourist town and it’s easy to see why. There’s plenty of holiday parks, walks and beaches as well as a miniature railway, aquarium, and theatre.
There are excellent transport links with a mainline railway station only 7 minute’s walk from the store where a train will take you to Chester in half an hour. By car, Liverpool is around 40 miles away and Manchester 67 miles.
Requirements of the role
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Optometry Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
