About the store

Specsavers Stone first opened its doors in 2019. The store has an excellent established reputation and is firmly embedded within the local community.

Stone colleagues pride themselves in ensuring that every one of their customers receives an excellent patient experience. The high levels of service and patient care have led to numerous positive customer reviews and an have earned them a 4.5 out of 5 stars online.

The store is situated on the high street in the town centre and has 3 dedicated optical test rooms, all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology, meaning you will have everything you need to perform sight tests to the highest possible standards.

A team of dedicated and passionate retail colleagues call this store home. This includes a Store Manager who has been in situ since the store opened its doors as well as resident clinicians and Pre Reg colleagues. As the new Optometry Director, you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.

The area extremely popular area for families thanks to a wide choice of highly rated schools, brilliant leisure facilities, an influx of new housing and a great choice of places to eat and drink. Requirements of the role

Alongside being an experienced Optometrist with experience in a retail environment, the right person for this position will be confident, possess a strong worth ethic and a willingness to succeed. You’ll be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You’ll be willing to go the extra mile for customers and someone who encourages their team to do the same.
