Role: Regional Training Dispensing Optician Manager

Location: working across 4 stores – Middlesbrough, Coulby Newham, Blaydon and Team Valley (opens Sept 23)

Salary: £30,000 – All expenses covered plus a £2,000 welcome bonus! (Terms and conditions apply) 

Bonus: The chance to earn up to £3000 extra per year on top of the welcome bonus! 
Working Hours: Full time
Experience Level: Must have previous experience working as an optician and must have a GOC number.

 

Specsavers Middlesbrough, Coulby Newham, Blaydon and Team Valley are looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician to join them as a regional trainer. This is an exciting position working across 4 stores, with the chance to be involved in the training agenda across each of these stores!

If your ambitions are to become our next Contact Lens Optician, we’ll do everything we can to help you to get there!

 

Our Dispensing Opticians are an integral part of our store management team, so we’re keen to get you up to speed. With ILM courses, Pre-Reg supervision and the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway) all available to explore. Along with your clinical and retail expertise – this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day.

 

What we’re looking for

You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician with the drive, passion and the willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture. As part of our team, you’ll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community. Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.
