The Service Partner Manager is a key “front line” role within the Service Partner Management (SPM) team, tasked with driving value into Specsavers from third party IT suppliers. This is done by tenaciously securing exceptional commercial outcomes from new proposals and renewals, and driving value through the life of contracts in accordance with our Service Partner Management Framework. The role is expected to develop sustainable and mutually valuable relationships with a subset of Specsavers’ IT most strategic Service Partners, ensuring these relationships meet and exceed the needs of the business. The primary task is to act as Specsavers Relationship Manager, to lead all Service Partner management aspects of a defined portfolio of very large Service Partners. With a focus on Tier one and two Service Partners within the Specsavers Service Partner EcoSystem, the SPM is responsible for all aspects of contract management, supplier performance and change management. Working alongside procurement, the SPM is also required to negotiate well balanced in-life proposals that practically deliver the business outcomes, while retaining goodwill. The SPM will manage the full lifecycle of contracts (from contract signature, through contract change, to in-life support) for Service Partners in their portfolio Partner. Finally, the SPM will be expected to assist the ongoing development of Service Partner Framework. This will include supporting the establishment of an efficient Service Partner Management Office (SPMO), and developing effective tools and processes.
