About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Global Product Quality team in Asia.
The Quality Assurance Manager leads the development of product standards, safety testing protocols, and set inspection and acceptance criteria that guide all quality control activities across suppliers and markets. The role is responsible for establishing and managing these protocols, as well as defining physical and technical specifications, including drawings, samples, both tooling and production. It provides the upstream framework and preventative quality standards that guide product development, ensuring robust supplier validation.
The role provides expert Quality Assurance support across product development, manufacturing, and supply chain operations while driving continuous improvement, CAPA effectiveness, and supplier quality excellence. This position plays a critical role in preventing quality issues, enabling compliant market access, and safeguarding product integrity for customers across all regions. It also leads the development, definition, and maintainance of group-wide product standards, ensuring systematic design control across all product categories.
Key Responsibilities
Product Quality & Standards
- Define and maintain global product standards, testing protocols, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure products meet EU and international regulatory requirements before market release
- Review and approve product specifications, technical drawings, and critical quality requirements
- Partner with design and engineering teams to embed quality at every stage of product development
Supplier Quality Management
- Establish and manage supplier quality systems aligned with ISO and internal standards
- Conduct supplier quality audits and process capability assessments
- Drive supplier onboarding, development, and continuous performance improvement
- Ensure strong traceability and control over supplier changes
Quality Assurance Operations
- Lead root cause analysis and drive effective CAPA processes
- Oversee product complaints, returns, and issue resolution
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage quality risks across the supply chain
- Champion a “right first time” mindset using structured problem-solving methodologies
Continuous Improvement
- Identify trends through quality data and implement preventive actions
- Lead initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints
- Support audits and ensure ongoing compliance across regions
Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing QA team
- Build capability across teams and suppliers through training and knowledge sharing
- Drive a strong quality-first culture across the organisation
- Support succession planning and talent development within the QA function
Skills, Ability or Experience
- Proven experience managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Strong expertise in CAPA and structured problem-solving (e.g. 8D, DMAIC)
- Knowledge of global product safety and regulatory requirements
- Experience in supplier quality management and audit processes
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, practical guidance
- Proactive, analytical mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Willingness to travel frequently across Asia
