Become an eyecare consultant (retail associate)

In this role, you’ll offer advice on style, guide our customers through our services and offers and make sure everyone can find a product that’s right for their needs. You’ll be the first face a customer sees and the last point of contact when they leave. And every day is likely to be a little different to the last.

You’ll find our stores growing throughout Canada. Each one as unique as the next, and as passionate about offering the best possible eyecare. Each team member is trained to support our customers throughout registration, pre-test and choosing their glasses or contact lenses. We believe in investing in you. You can develop your knowledge and skills through our training app so you can access on-demand learning when it suits you.
What kind of training is there?
From day one, you’ll be guided through your Welcome to Specsavers induction. From here, you’ll learn and then practice the skills needed to support our customers. There's room to grow too – so whether you’re ready to explore professional opportunities in our support office or become a registered/licensed optician or contact lens fitter, we’re here to help you take the next step.
