Teleoptometrist – Remote opportunity
Caring for the communities in Nanaimo
Specsavers is the world’s largest, privately-owned optical retailer. Our journey began 40 years ago in the UK, with visionary optometrists Doug and Mary Perkins. Today, we support over 2,700 healthcare businesses, passionately caring for more than 44 million patients and customers worldwide.
The independent optometric clinic operated by Dr Ian Scholfield is looking for an optometrist to provide teleoptometry services to join their team to help communities in Nanaimo access timely, quality eyecare.
Your teleoptometrist opportunity and practice
Work from home. You’ll be joining an independent Optometry Partner and a team of passionate eyecare professionals remotely, to shape the future of community eye health as a teleoptometrist.
In addition to access to advanced clinical technology, training, and joining a growing network of over 250 eyecare professionals in Canada – you can be at the forefront of teleoptometry and new opportunities as a leader in the Canadian teleoptometry network.
What we’re looking for
You’re a registered optometrist residing in Canada and holding a valid license to practice in British Columbia, excited about advancing the future of optometry and eyecare. Beyond your experience, you have an ability to connect with patients, engage with clinical and in store support teams, and deliver exceptional patient care through a virtual platform. You’re adaptable and comfortable with learning and working with technology.
